LMAT SAS

Privacy policy

A controlled operating model that turns unique second-hand garments into predictable, retail-ready supply.

Data controller

The controller for personal data collected through this website is LMAT SAS, SIREN 979 006 640, 2 rue de la Paix, 75002 Paris, France.

Data processed

Depending on the service used, LMAT SAS may process professional identity and contact details, project briefs, chat messages, human handoff preferences, technical logs and information required to secure a client account.

Purposes

  • Answer questions, contact requests and project briefs.
  • Manage commercial and pre-contractual discussions.
  • Operate secure client accounts and password recovery.
  • Provide the multilingual LMAT website assistant and transfer a conversation to an authorised team member.
  • Secure, maintain and improve the website.

Website assistant

The assistant first uses an approved LMAT knowledge base. When generative answers are enabled, chat content may be processed by LMAT SAS’s AI service provider, currently OpenAI, solely to formulate the requested answer. Visitors should not submit confidential, sensitive or special-category personal data through the chat. A conversation is stored by LMAT SAS only when the visitor explicitly requests human follow-up and consents to transmission. In that case, the submitted details and transcript may also be routed to LMAT SAS’s internal collaboration workspace, currently Slack, so an authorised team member can respond.

Legal bases

Processing relies, as applicable, on LMAT SAS’s legitimate interests, pre-contractual or contractual steps, legal obligations, and consent where required.

Retention

  • Human chat handoffs: up to 12 months after the last active exchange when no customer relationship follows.
  • Project briefs and business contacts: up to 3 years after the last active exchange.
  • Customer relationship data: for the relationship and applicable statutory retention periods.
  • Technical logs: up to 13 months.
  • Non-essential cookies: up to 13 months, subject to consent.

Recipients and transfers

Data is available only to authorised LMAT SAS teams and necessary technical providers bound by confidentiality and security obligations, including the internal collaboration provider used to route human follow-up requests. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, LMAT SAS uses an applicable legal transfer mechanism.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent where applicable. Requests can be submitted through the Contact page or by post to LMAT SAS’s registered office. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
